Our preschool program is an extension of the ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church. We strive to
provide the highest quality early childhood education within a Christian environment. This dual
mission provides many unique opportunities in which children may develop as whole enriched
individuals. The following areas of development are considered in our planning.

Spiritually:
God's creative power, His law and His love are revealed on the child's level through first hand
experiences with: Trinity's pastors, teachers and through the use of Bible stories, prayer, music and
pictures appropriate for their levels of comprehension.

Emotionally:
The child develops a healthy feeling about him/herself. Through daily experiences
the child learns to accept changes and disappointments without being unduly
disturbed.

Socially:
The children learn to respect other people and their belongings. To communicate and cooperate with
others. We try to expand their vision of the world from home to include the people and places around
them.

Intellectually:
Each child is encourages to develop in his/her own way, at their own pace. They are provided with an
environment which stimulates and challenges their curiosity and imagination. To foster their love of
learning.

Physically:
The children's large and small muscles are developed by the use of proper play equipment and a
variety of indoor and outdoor activities. They practice visual motor skills. We encourage good health
habits.
